So here it is: the hair update. Jet black and chopped. I haven't done anything this drastic since the days when my mum used to cut my hair - and even then, it was done to me, not by me.

All sappiness aside, I just wanted to share this little gift I got for Valentine's day. I'm not a believer in expecting extravagant presents for the occasion - I would much rather spend the time just doing something enjoyable together - but it's always a nice surprise to get a token like this. The best part is that this was something I'd been looking at getting for a really long time, a fact that my boyfriend had noticed so he secretly went and bought it for me instead. Can definitely say the thought counted too on this occasion.
