Had a really hectic weekend but luckily managed to squeeze in an afternoon stroll around the neighborhood with Rufus (my dog). Isn't he darling? The weather has been quite cagey lately, brilliant at times but then reverting back to the four-season-in-one-day thing Auckland is so damn good at. I always get asked by other Auck bloggers how I manage to find the sun for shooting... mostly I actually just have things saved up from like a week earlier ;)
Oh, and the winner of the 80's Purple giveaway is Jennifer Humphrey from A go-go! Congrats Jenn, I'll be passing on your details for them to contact you. Thank you to everyone for entering, loved reading your comments as always :)
A mish-mash of current favourites... my trusty little leather shorts, Mariel wedges which have been practically glued to my feet (so comfy!), leather bag that I have finally worn in to perfection, and this ModCloth blazer with studded lapel. Love that it has soft little round studs instead, I'm kinda over the pyramid ones now.
Will be adding new items to the store over the next few days!
Time for another giveaway! This one is courtesy of 80's Purple - an online retailer of contemporary clothing and accessories. They stock brands such as Cheap Monday, Free People, Grey Ant, Diesel, Wildfox Couture and more. The prize is a $100 giftcard to spend on anything from their store!
In order to win, you just need to:
1) 'Like' 80s purple on Facebook here 2) Go to 80spurple.com and select your favorite clothing item and comment here with your name, email and why you like that item
That's all you have to do! Contest will end a week from now on July 21st, so get browsing. Good luck to everyone :)
Country Road bag & shirt, F21 shorts, Jeffrey Campbell boots
After months of stalking, I finally managed to track down this version of the Pixie boot in leopard. Easily the lightest, most comfy (albeit attention attracting) shoes I have at the moment. And I sorta love the irony that it's leopard print on pony hair. Would make a pretty damn cool horse if such a thing existed in real life.
This tacky leopard coat was oddly appealing when I saw it. Found it on half price sale so I figured even if I never wore it out again, it could be turned into a home lounging item without too much of a loss. Might actually take it with me this weekend when I go skiing... if room permits.
I haven't managed to get to bed before at least 2am every night. Think it's starting to catch up with me, trouble keeping my eyes open right now.
Eta: I'm away for the next few days on a ski trip. Will post the winner of the Shopbop giveaway when I get back!
